Go for a musical Winter Morning Walk with musica intima

Musica Intima’s 10th anniversary special edition Ding Dong! opens this Saturday December 6! 
musica intima will be joined by Triology – Vancouver jazz legends Jodi Proznick (bass), Miles Black (piano), Bill Coon (guitar) and Mili Hong (drums). The show will open with favourites from musica intima’s Ding Dong! repertoire… Norah Jones’ Christmas Glow, Merle Haggard’s If We Make It Through December arranged by mi alumni Steve Maddock, Joy to the World, and many more! Winter Morning Walks begins as the poet, Ted Kooser desperately fights depression while undergoing cancer treatment. Ordered by doctors to stay out of the sun, he takes daily pre-dawn walks with only a flashlight to guide his way. To his surprise, Kooser begins to appreciate the little gifts of daily life as both his mind and body journey towards recovery. The beautiful musical setting by Maria Schneider, arranged by BC’s own Réjean Marois is sure to warm your hearts and fill you with joy.
